Your guide meets you at your hotel and accompanies you to Zurich's main station for a comfortable Swiss train ride to Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall — the dramatic clifftop castle perched right above the falls. From there, a series of viewing platforms takes you within metres of the spray.
Then comes the highlight: a boat ride out to the rocky midstream pinnacle, where you can climb a few steps and stand at the very heart of the cascade. The roar is unforgettable.
